New to site

I am new to the blog and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a friend of golemhunter, for about 18 years now (can you believe that?). He invited me aboard. I am excited for the opportunity to receive and give critiques to other fine writers. I have recently self-published a non-fiction book titled, Masquerade: A Story of Abuse - A Gift of Adversity, which can be viewed and or purchased at my website masqueradeandrea.com for those who may be interested. We would like to have themes and exercises in future. At this point we are still establishing the blog, and hammering out the details. So, your first assignment is to publish anything you want. It does not matter if it is poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction. Just enjoy the writing experience and let us see your skills.

WRITER'S BLOG

i've been thinking. i know many people who are writing stories or want to write stories. so why not encourage them? i was thinking maybe what we need is a writer's blog like the toon club blog. different writer's submit different stuff and everyone else comments. what you like and what you don't like and why. we can also throw out general suggestions and exercises to become better writers. sounds good to me. let me know if y'all are interested. i think it would be fun.
